Volunteering at TCF
Step 1: Participate for the first 6-9 months by attending our Sunday morning and Wednesday evening services and get a better understanding of who we are, and what we believe through our worship services. We also ask you to review our statement of beliefs to make sure you’re in agreement, and can worship with us in heartfelt unity.
Also within that 6-9 month period, we invite you to attend a “Newcomers Dinner” on a Sunday evening. These are a wonderful time where we enjoy a simple meal, allow you a chance to meet other members of the church, and have an opportunity to hear from the pastors and ask them questions. The Newcomer Dinners are usually held once in the fall and once in the spring. You may register for the next one at the “Hospitality Desk” in the foyer of the Worship Center on Sunday mornings.
Step 2: In addition to attending a Newcomers Dinner, get to know some people by participating in Body life. There are a large number of ways to do this; join a community group, attend 1st Sunday Communion service, participate in Men's/Women's ministry events or any number of ministry events happening throughout the year.
Step 3: As you become more comfortable with and get to know more of the TCF body consider a "ride along" in a short-term mission or local outreach. It would also prove helpful to make an appointment and sit down with Pastor Chris White to assess your gifts and gain a better understanding of where the Lord might use you.
